For gated housing, arrange entry before the locksmith reaches the call. If you are renting, check who can approve a rekey or replacement. If a new lock has already been purchased, send the model and door photos so fit can be discussed.
Vehicle calls need the year, make, model, exact parking spot, and a clear explanation of whether the key is locked inside, lost, damaged, or not recognized. Those are different services, even when they begin with the same frustrating moment.
