Airport-side access has extra steps
A hotel may require a guest to meet the locksmith in the lobby. A private parking facility may use a shuttle or controlled gate. A rental vehicle may require direction from the rental company before key or lock work. Confirm those permissions before scheduling and keep documentation available.
For residents and local businesses, the process is more familiar: describe the lock, identify who can authorize service, and share any gate or rear-entrance instruction. If a key was lost with identifying information, rekeying may be worth discussing after immediate access is restored.
